The India Meteorological Department (IMD) said the day temperature is expected to fall further in the coming days.
"There was mist in the morning but skies will remain clear during the day. The maximum temperature is expected to hover around 22 degrees," an IMD official told IANS. The minimum temperature Tuesday was 7.5 degrees.
