Eshwarappa criticises Governor

“The Governor seems to be interfering in the functioning of BJP government to influence and impress United Progressive Alliance chairperson and Congress supremo Sonia Gandhi to become minister in union cabinet once again,” he opined.

Speaking to press persons after campaigning for party candidates contested in ZP, TP polls in Javagal and other places in the district, he said. 

He said that same Governor H R Bhardwaj had kept mum on illegal mining activities of former chief minister of Jharkhand Madhu Koda while he was serving there, but he is baying for the blood of Bellary Reddy brothers by dashing off letter to CM to provide details of their illegal mining activities. The high command leaders of the party are contemplating on filing a complaint against Governor with President Prathiba Patil pleading with her to recall him.
 However, nobody can destabilise BJP government in the State even if many such governors come to the State.

Over BJP national secretary Ananthkumar’s name being dragged in the allotment of 2G spectrum scam in connection with lobbyist Niira Radia, Eshwarappa termed this as ‘vindictive politics’ of Congress. The party would file defamation suit on the person for dragging the name of Ananthkumar without valid documents. He also said that Congress has dragged the name of Ananthkumar to divert the attention of the people.

The BJP has already launched nationwide agitation against misrule of UPA government. The state unit of the party would intensifies this after panchayat polls.
