The petitioners had moved the High Court citing the Supreme Court appointed Central Empowerment Company’s report suggesting to inquire into the allegations of illegal mining by OMC and had sought to implement the High Court order to permit them to mine in their leased area. Counsel for the respondents mentioned that the matter is pending before the Supreme Court.
