Student gang raped in moving car in Ghaziabad, 3 held

The assault  occurred Wednesday in Raj Nagar area, when the girl, a Class 10 student of an inter college, was on her way to her tuition classes, a police officer said Monday.

She was offered a lift by her acquaintance Monu, who was in a car with two other youths. The girl initially refused, but later went along with the trio, who drove the car to a desolate area and took turns raping her in the moving vehicle.

The case was registered Sunday, and the victim's medical tests have confirmed rape, the police officer said.
