Saanidhya students champs in State-level meet

Both the mens and women’s team which participated in the 4X100 meters relay won the gold medal. Madhushree won three gold medals for 100 metres, 200 metres race and long jump in the age category 16 to 20.

Hasan Hasif won the gold and Krishna Raj won the silver medal in the shot put event for men above 25. Anoop Baliga bagged a bronze in shot put for men in the 20 to 25 year age category.

Vinayak won gold for high jump and a bronze for long jump. Ashirwad won a gold in 200 metres race and bronze in shot put and 100 meters race. Both belonged to the age category 16 to 20 years.

In 12 to 16 year category, Asmatha R won silver in 100 meters race and bronze in long jump. Tahalath won silver in shot put.

About 42 special schools from the state participated in the sports meet.
