Speaking after inaugurating Educational Conference of Teachers organised by District Primary School Teachers Association here on Monday, he said the education imparted by the teachers at the primary level would mould the character of the students. The participation of teachers in seminars, workshop, academic conferences helps would enrich their knowledge.
Expressing satisfaction about the district’s progress in the field of education, the MLA said it should improve further in the coming days. The teachers should realise that education was the base for economic and social revolution.
Resource person, C C Raghu presented a paper on the implementation of ‘nali- kali’ and DDPI K Gopal presented a paper on ‘Quality of education’.
State Primary School Teachers’ Association General Secretary Narayanaswamy, Secretary Manjula, District Primary School Teachers Association President K Nagesh and others were present.
