Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa had said he was ready for a public debate in the presence of judges, intellectuals and senior citizens on the allegations levelled against him.
Kumaraswamy said even in the past Yeddyurappa had given a call for open debate. However the debate did not materialise with the chief minister giving lame excuses. “He did not allow a debate even in the Assembly. At least now he should hold one without fail,” Kumaraswamy remarked at a party function.
