Eight other successful entrepreneurs also received awards across various categories. Dilip Shanghvi now goes on to represent the country at the Ernst & Young World Entrepreneur of the Year Award in Monte Carlo, Monaco in June 2011.
This is 12th year of The E&Y Entrepreneur Of The Year award for which a record 312 nominations were received, the company said.
The lifetime achievement award this year was conferred upon Hero Honda Motors Chairman Brijmohan Lall Munjal.
