Rain victim's kin gets Rs 1 lakh compensation

MLA visited the house of Seema in Kundur Estate village and handed over the cheque on Sunday. Speaking to media persons on the occasion, Kumaraswamy said that the taluk has received maximum rain. He said that the officials were asked to respond to people’s grievances with regard to rain damages. Houses, roads and bridges were damaged at many places in the taluk, he said adding that he has directed officials to undertake repair works.

Sub-Divisional Officer Dayanand, Tahsildar Shivegowda, State BJP executive member Kemji Keshav, Revenue Inspector Manjunath and Hesagal Girish were present.
