Said Siddaramaiah: “They (BJP government) are so thick skinned that we don’t think that Yeddyurappa will step down with this. But the party will continue to keep the heat on, holding picketing and also jail bharo henceforth intensifying the anti-government protest”.

Delineating on the rally of Mysore division organised here on February 19 at the grounds opposite to Maharaja’s College, Siddaramaiah said at a press meet on Friday, over one lakh workers are expected to attend the meet. A host of leaders like Union Minister for Labour Mallikarjuna Kharge, Union Minister for Law and Justice M Veerappa Moily, Union Minister for External Affairs S M Krishna and Union Minister of State for Railways K H Muniyappa, Rajya Sabha Member Oscar Fernandes, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee (KFCC) President G  Parameshwar will be decorating the dais.

The meet is the continued fight  after padayatra to Bellary, that turned out to be popular with people from all walks of life voluntarily extending their support, Siddaramaiah claimed.

On practicing witchcraft to eliminate rivals, as accused by Chief Minister B S  Yeddyurappa recently, Siddaramaiah in a sarcastic tone said ‘If the evil way could have brought results, what was the necessity of having police force. It’s a foolish statement made by the chief minister’.
