Punjab defeated Delhi 2-1 with Gurpreet and Onkar scoring for the winners. Vikas Raval pulled one back for Delhi in injury time.
Though held to a draw by Jharkhand, Goa entered the last four stage with one win and two draws while the hosts bowed out as they drew their three matches.
Goa’s Diogo and Jharkhand’s Alvin George were the scorers in their 1-1 draw.
West Bengal, who will play their last Group A match against Services on Monday, are one of the favourites to enter the last four stage.
Meanwhile, Tripura’s Dipa Karmakar sparkled in the gymnastics arena clinching four gold medals to take her haul to five.
After taking the all round individual title on Saturday, Karmakar clinched the girls’ table vault, uneven bars, floor exercises and balanced beam on Sunday to emerge top in the individual medal list followed by Maharashtra’s Aksheta Shate.
