He will also produce a film to be directed by Imtiaz Ali, which could star Hrithik Roshan. "Details are still being kept under wraps as formalities are being put into place," sources said.
Sajid himself refused to divulge any information on the two films. "I can only say we are actively working on them," he added. Sajid has also signed on Shahid Kapoor for "Heer Ranjha", but for now, the producer chooses to remain tight-lipped.
He said "Housefull 2", directed by Sajid Khan, will star Akshay Kumar, John Abraham, Rishi Kapoor, Randhir Kapoor, Asin, Rahul Khanna and Jacqueline Fernandez . "Kick", to be directed by Shirish Kunder, goes on floor in September, and will star Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.
