K T Srikantegowda said in the Council on Thursday that no action had been taken though an inquiry by the Zilla Panchayat revealed the officials misappropriated more than a crore. Minister for Primary and Secondary Education Visweswara Hegde Kageri, in his reply, said that an inquiry had been ordered by the Education Department to look into the complaints on the misuse of the funds by the DDPI and the deputy project co-ordinator.
