High on attendance, low on work

But, there was no improvement in the administration and maintenance of records at the assistant commissioner’s office in Mahadevapura. The zonal office was unable even to provide any information on the distribution of Transfer of Development Rights  in its jurisdiction.

Irregularities were also found in the offices of the assistant controller of town planning. The engineers attached to the zone had not even signed the attendance register for the past three months. 

Though three vehicles for transporting garbage were not in a ‘pliable condition’, records showed that they consumed 100 litres of diesel every three days.
