<p>Imran (26) and Altafuddin (37), both from Dakshina Kannada district, Navin Kumar (26) of Ramanagar district, R Yogeesh (20) of Devanahalli, and Channabasavaiah (30) of Dharwad are the arrested. <br /><br />All are said to be associates of rowdy Hebbattu Manja. Police said the five had planned to waylay pedestrians on Rajarajeshwari Nagar main road.<br /><br />During the interrogation, the arrested told the CCB police that the robbery was planned to provide financial support to Manja. The suspects told that Manja had plans to gun down his rival Korangu Krishna, now in jail and flee to a far-off place. The robbery was planned to fund the plan. Six cellphones, lethal weapons, and car were seized from the arrested.<br /><br /></p>
