<p>According to the police, the victim, a resident of Rohini, had gone to her sister's house in the same locality Saturday afternoon and was returning home in a cycle rickshaw.<br /><br />"Usually, her sister accompanied her, but yesterday the victim was alone. The rickshaw puller took a different route and took her to the Japanese Park area," a police officer said.<br />According to the victim's family, the rickshaw puller deliberately overturned the rickshaw and picked up an argument with the victim. <br /><br />He then allegedly attacked her with a brick and raped her. The incident occurred at a stone's throw away from K.N. Katju Marg police station. <br /><br />The victim was found bruised and lying on the roadside early Sunday morning by a passer-by.<br /><br />"We have rounded up around 100 rickshaw pullers and are questioning them. The victim is reportedly the wife of a former town planner. <br /><br />"The victim is undergoing treatment at a hospital and a case of rape has been registered," the police officer added.</p>
