Congress will win all three seats: Nirupam

Speaking to reporters after holding a meeting with KPCC leaders on the coming byelections, he said: “KPCC is one of the strongest units with a galaxy of senior leaders.” The party leaders and the workers have been asked to work unitedly to ensure victory of its candidates in the bypolls, he added.

Byelections will be held for Channapattana, Jagalur and Bangarpet assembly seats.

Asked about the possibility of a tie-up with the JD(S), Nirupam said no such a proposal has not been received from the JD(S). The Congress high command will take a decision if necessary, he added.
