Fernas to complete IOCL pipeline work by July 2012

The project involves laying pipelines between IOCL's jetty and the upcoming refinery near the port town of Paradip in the district of Jagatsinghpur, about 120 km from here.

"Work (for the pipeline project) has already started, with Fernas having started its engineering and mobilisation of various resources," Fernas CEO Rohit Singhal told IANS.

"The scheduled time for the completion of the project is July 2012 and Fernas with its strong project management skills is confident to complete the project on schedule time," he said.

This is Fernas' first project in Orissa. It recently executed a 365 km pipeline for transporting natural gas in central India -- the Dahej-Vijaipur gas pipeline for GAIL (India) Ltd estimated for Rs.450 crore.

Fernas group is a diversified global conglomerate providing integrated engineering, procurement, project management, and construction services in oil and gas, infrastructure and petrochemicals sectors.

Fernas has sizable number of projects spread across five continents and is working in more than 16 countries all over the world.
