Abhishek ton lays Jaidur low

Abhishek Reddy smashed an unbeaten hundred as Jawahar Sports Club (1) scored a facile nine-wicket win over Jaidur Cricketers in the KSCA under-16 inter-club cricket tournament on Friday.

Abhishek made 107 as the winners reached the target of 193 in 42.3 overs.

They lost only the wicket of D Nishal but not before the opener made 53, assisting Abhishek in making a solid start to the chase.

Earlier, it was FS Nihal who started the slide when he picked up three wickets to restrict Jaidur to a modest 192 for nine, Vinodh top-scoring with 44. Sharath and Nauman grabbed two wickets apiece to support Nihal.
