Youth murdered in Srirangapatna

According to police, Manjunath (30), son of Puttaswamy, a resident of Govindappa Street, is the deceased. He was said to be a drunkard.

The victim was working in a private factory in Mysore but he had quit the job recently. Since then he was doing some job.

According to the complaint lodged by his brother, Manjunath left with his friends- Shankar and Madhu on that fateful night. The cause for his alleged murder is not known.

The personnel from the police finger prints bureau and sniffer dogs visited the spot.

Town Police have registered a case.
