Odissi performance on Sunday

The programme is being organised by the Orissa Association, Mysore, as part of Utkal Divas celebrations.

Guests of honour

N R Group, Chairman,  R Guru, Former Director General, Archeological Survey of India, Dr M S Nagaraja Rao, journalist K B Ganapathy, Professor Emeritus, University of Mysore, Dr M S Krishna Murthy and others will be the guests of honour.

Dances will include ‘Devi Bandana’, ‘Lalita Labangalata Abhinaya Duet’, ‘Madhu Basanta Dance Drama Group’, ‘Danda Nata Chadeia and Chadeiani, folk dance’ and ‘Sambalpuri Chuti chuta folk dance’.

Dance by students

Also a dance performance ‘Santakaram Bhujanga Sayanam - Mangalacharana’ by the students of Odissi Dance Academy will be held, according to a press release.
