'Utilise facilities to achieve educational progress'

He was speaking after inaugurating the high school building in Mattakannasandra village in Srinivaspur taluk on Monday.

He promised to provide required facilities for the educational progress of the taluk.

Compound will be constructed at the school.

Road from Somayajalahalli to Mattakannasandra will be developed at the cost of Rs 2 crore and Karangi road will also be developed at the cost of Rs 1 crore, he promised.

Zilla panchayat member G Rajanna presided over the function. He promised to provide drinking water and toilet facility to the school.

Legislator G K Venkatashiva Reddy felicitated agriculturist Krishna Reddy, who donated 2 acres of land for the construction of school building.

Town Municipal Council president B M Prakash, Taluk Panchayat member Rajashekara Reddy, tahsildar Manjunathswamy, Block Education Officer  Victor, Taluk JD(S) President B G Syeed Khadar and others were present.
