Informing about other developmental projects he said, “the land near the jail will be used for building shopping complexes except for a little area which will be reserved for parking space. As many as 9,700 farmers in the district will receive benefit from Suvarna Bhomi Yojane. The Government has not yet decided about growing silk and other horticulture crops. If the small farmers stop growing traditional crops and rather grow new crop varieties they will receive support from the district administration,” he informed. The farmers must submit certificate to the district administration and should produce RTC and Bank account copies.

Every farmer will receive a financial aid of Rs 5,000 initially and will be given with the same amount after yield. If at all the farmer does not grow the crop despite receiving the aid in the beginning, those farmers will be devoid of all facilities for the next three years, he said.
