Embedded Systems meet in Bangalore

 The three-day conference features about 32 technical presentations, including 10 sponsored sessions, two keynote speeches and CXO panel discussion on trends in embedded technology.
 
Besides the presentations, the event will also showcase products and solutions of 15 of the leading embedded solutions providers, including Microsoft, IBM, Telelogic, St Micro et al. The conference provides opportunity to market their products and also strike partnership and sales deals through fringe meetings. 

Market trends

UBM India (organisers of the event) Director Sajid Desai said nearly 2,300 delegates are expected to take part in ESC-2009, including pre-registered participants. The CXO panel discussion, on Thursday, will offer embedded community a glimpse of technology and market trends, he added. For those working in the core of embedded technology, ESC gives deeper understanding on some of the tools and platforms they work with. Delegates at this year’s conference will get ‘ESC survival kit’ consisting of educational materials, whitepapers on embedded system, articles and books that would help embedded designers to be well equipped while working on projects.  

Microsoft Marketing Director (Windows Embedded) John Boladian, said with the advent of cloud computing and pervasiveness of embedded technology embedded systems are rapidly moving into newer realms. This, he added, is the most interesting period for engineers and those marketing embedded systems.  Vector Informatik, German-based solutions & services provider has announced the commencement of its India operations. The company has started its office in Pune and will make some of its well-known tools like CANalyzer, CANoe and CANape available in India.
