A petition was filed by the residents stating that at least 100 garbage trucks were parked every day on 32nd and 33rd main of the Colony and this was causing a major hindrance. On January 5, 2011, the Court directed the BBMP to clear the trucks in two months’ time.
However, the BBMP had filed an interlocutory application (IA) claiming helplessness in the issue as the other respondents in the case had not co-operated.
The Court however, disposed of the IA and gave a month’s time to clear the garbage trucks from the area.
