Public suffer due to stalling of road works

 
The municipality had called tender for a package worth Rs 19 lakh during last March.

There are complaints that the delay is due to some town municipality members themselves having obtained the tenders in proxy names.

The work of converting the road behind Valmiki temple into CC road was included in the first package. But the work is not yet taken up. The jalli stones that was laid long ago are dislocated and public find it difficult even to walk on the road. The citizens have appaled for taking up the work at the earliest.
