Yashodamma came to Mysore in mid 60’s with her family of five children and worked as a helper at the house of famous litterateur in Kannada Parameshwar Bhat.
She began selling idlis after her husband passed away.
Now, Yashodamma at 75 years is continuingly selling idlis and other breakfast items with her sons Krishna Bhat and Madhav Bhat lending helping hands to their mother.
The menu includes Bisibele bath, chitranna, curd rice and others from 11 am and a lot of school and college going students and working people can be seen relishing the dishes.
Idly is available for `three, while Masala Dosa costs ` 13. While Yashodamma charges ` 10 for rice, a tastybonda or vada is available at ` three.
