And this is precisely why most young girls and boys simply love to slip into a pair of jeans.
Metrolife spoke to a few students in Seshadripuram College who said they treasure their jeans whether it is old or new.

Bhargav, a B Com student says, “We don’t have any dress code and are free to wear anything but well within the boundary of decency. Obviously, jeans are the favourite with many and the slim fit is popular.” Agrees Manoj, a friend of his, “Jeans is our favourite outfit mainly for its versatility. It goes well with T-shirts as well as casual shirts. One more thing is that we never get bored of jeans. Apart from ethnic day and festivals, we like to wear jeans all the time.”

Even girls have their own reasons to swear by jeans. “Whatever may be the colour of the top and it may be a T-shirt or a kurta, jeans matches everything. If you have a good collection of jeans, then there is no need to worry about the dress,” says Shruthi. When it comes to colour co-ordination, the students of Seshadripuram College prove that they are no way less than their counterparts in other colleges. Black is a favourite with most students because they say they can experiment with it. “The colour doesn’t require too much thought because all colours go with black. Though you wear black everyday, it never gets boring,” says Jayasimha, a B Com student.

Prathiksha a BBM student says, “I find black to be a very empowering colour. It makes me look slimmer and classy. The colour makes me feel confident whenever I wear it.”  Pallavi adds, “The colour is perfect and it gains a lot of attention in the fashion industry.”
