People advised to use helpline facility

 The State Government with an intention to help poor, senior citizens, HIV infected and other helpless people to use this facility.

Complaints

The police department had received 1803 complaints from the public pertaining to crime, corruption, delay in seeking government facilities through the helpline number 180022550100.

People can dial this helpline number through BSNL STD telephone and mobile phone services only. There is no provision to call the helpline through other telecom companies mobile phone.

However, the Department has planned to extend this helpline facility to other telecom companies very shortly, according to a release.
