Civil and district judges transferred

 All the officers have been directed to take charge of their new posts on May 23.
The Judge of the 23rd Additional City Civil and Sessions Court C B Hipparagi who has been hearing the high profile cases related to illegal denotification of land by Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa and Home Minister R Ashok, has been transferred as the Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal at Hubli-Dharwad.

N K Sudhindra Rao, presently the Principal District and Sessions Judge at Bellary has been appointed in his place.

Meanwhile, the Registrar General of High Court, R B Budihal has been transferred as the Principal City Civil and Sessions Judge in Bangalore.

According to the notification, the postings of the Principal District and Sessions Judges are subject to the result of their seniority dispute and if their seniority changes, then it will be for the Chief Justice or the Full Court to take a decision in the matter.
