<p>An exhibition-cum-amusement event, the ‘Family Fair’ has a lot of attractions for children and also caters to the needs of every member of a family. <br /><br />The Fair, which is on at RBANM School Ground, Near Commercial Street, has been attracting a huge number of people, who are coming here to spend some good time with their family members.<br /><br />The fair has an exclusive set-up for amusement rides, which include boating, ‘Tora-Tora’, ‘Dragon Train’, ‘Breaking Dance’, ‘Zig-Zag’, ‘Jumping Frog’, ‘Dashing Car’ and many more. One can also experience exciting water games and the most interesting of these is walking on water in a transparent zorb, which is 10-feet-high and eight-feet-wide.<br /><br />The fair also offers an ultimate shopping experience as a wide variety of consumer durables and household goods are being offered with huge discounts in more than 200 stalls.<br /><br /> Home electronics, kitchen appliances, furniture, books, artificial jewellery, stationery, toys, footwear and beauty products are on sale. <br /><br />One can also taste different kinds of delicacies at the food court. <br /><br />The book stalls have been offering up to 85 per cent discounts on books. A stall from Gangavathi, which sells sugar-free rice, has become popular with the visitors. <br />“We have been holding this fair for the last 30 years during the summer season. We have tried our best to make this exhibition one of the best hang-out spot for the family crowd, especially keeping the requirements of children,” says Raju, Manager, National Consumer Fair. <br /><br />The exhibition is on till May 1, between 4 pm and 10 pm.
