Chandrasekhar later told presspersons that the Foundation would serve and support families of the martyrs of the military, paramilitary and the police forces of India. The council of advisors of the foundation comprise retired Air Chief Marshal FH Major, retired Lt Gen Satish Nambiar, retired Air Chief Marshal Mc Mahon, retired Air Commodore MK Chandrasekhar, retired Commodore Franklin, Subhashini Vasanth, Manvendra Singh, Sajjan Poovayya, Lt Col Mohanlal and Rajeev Chandrasekhar.
The foundation has arranged a programme ‘Kargil Diwas’ at Minsk Square War Memorial near Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday at 11 am to pay homage to the martyrs of the Kargil War.
