II PU results today

According to a press release from the Pre-University Education department, the results will also be announced at BangaloreOne centres here and KarnatakaOne centres in Tumkur, Belgaum, Bellary, Mysore, Gulbarga, Davangere, Shimoga, Mangalore and Hubli-Dharwad.

Principals of the colleges have been asked to collect result sheets from the respective deputy directors of PU education on May 11 and display them at their colleges. Around 6.2 lakh candidates had appeared for the examination held in March.

SSLC results on May 12

The results of the SSLC examination will be declared on May 12, reports DHNS from Madikeri.

Primary and Secondary Education Minister Vishweshwara Hegde Kageri said on Monday that about 8.75 lakh students appeared for the examination this year and the evaluation of answer papers had been completed. He said a committee has been constituted at the zonal level to curb donation menace at private educational institutions. “Since parents are not coming forward to lodge complaints, the four-member committee has been given suo motu powers to inquire into fleecing at private institutions.” Students of class IX and X in private aided schools too will get free textbooks from this year, he said.
