CET for admission to Sanskrit varsities

This is for the first time the combined entrance test (CET) is being conducted at the direction of the Human Resources Development Ministry for admission in Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (RSV), Tirupati, Rashtriya Sanskrti Sansthan (RSKS) and Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Sanskrit Vidyapeeth (SLBSRSV), both in New Delhi.

The successful candidates will get admission to Shikshacharya (MEd) and pre-registration to Vidyavaridhi (PhD) on the basis of their scores.

The three universities are conducting CET by rotation. While the RSKS, New Delhi, is conducting the Common Entrance Test for this year, the RSV,Tirupati, will hold the examination for the academic year 2012-13.

The SLBSRSV, New Delhi, will conduct the examination for the year 2013-2014.
