Actor Ajai Rao inaugurated the audition which had breathtaking performances by young boys and girls from across the City.

More than 30 kids presented brilliant performances on the first day of the audition in front of a large audience who cheered the contestants all through the programme.

Smitha, a seventh standard student from Martin Luther Public School, stole the hearts of the crowd with her dance number to the song Sheila Ki Jawani.

Neha, another talented young girl, danced to Dum Dum Dum Mast Hai in a fabulous manner. Shobhana R, a contestant in junior category, matched steps to a Kannada song using the stage properties and received thunderous applause for her swift movements and catchy steps.

The female participants were more in number on the first day. Dancers Roopika and Danny judged the children and also performed with their troupe on request from the audience.

“I have no words to appreciate the efforts of these kids who performed with so much confidence and perfection. Future stars will evolve from these platforms. So we should provide more such opportunities for younger generation to exhibit their talents,” said Ajai Rao after watching the performances.

The ‘Garuda Super Kids’ competition will be held in two categories.  Children between six and 10 can compete in junior category and kids between 10 to 16 will be in the senior group.
