<p>Roopashree, a resident of Srirampura was shocked to see the ant eater inside the compound and informed Snake Shyam, an expert in catching serpents. He came to the spot and caught it.<br /><br />On the way to Chamundi Hills, he stopped for a while near the deputy commissioner’s office following request by press photographers to click the pictures. <br /><br />As soon as Snake Shyam released the pangolin from the bag, it perched on a nearby tree out of fear. It clung to the branch and never obliged to come down.<br /><br />Ultimately, Snake Shyam climbed the tree and caught it. Later, he freed it near the Chamundi Hills.<br /><br />It may be mentioned here that a pangolin was found near Siddartha Layout and it was also rescued by local residents.</p>
