Watery grave for teenager in KGF

 The deceased has been identified as Satish (15), a resident of Ramar Layout in the City.

Police said that Satish, a student of Eden School was asleep in his house when five of his friends took him to Banagere tank to catch fish. Later, Satish entered a well to cleanse himself of the slush. However he slipped and fell into the well and drowned, the police added.

Four arrested

Four people have been arrested by the Robertsonpet police station on the charges dowry harassment on Sunday. Prem Kumar (32), Shanmugham (45) Dhanalakshmi (38) and Kannan (24), all residents of Ambedkar Nagar here have been arrested.

Police said that Prem Kumar had married one Manjula Devi three years ago and was physically and mentally harassing her for dowry. On Saturday evening Kumar locked up Manjula in a room and doused kerosene on her to burn her alive.

However Manjula managed to escape and lodged a complaint with Robertsonpet police station. A case has been registered against the four.
