Nurses Day celebrated

The status of nurses has not changed despite the fact that they play an important role in treating patients.

Speaking at the Nurse’s Day celebrations organised by Department of Sociology at Government Arts College in Hassan, she said the policy makers should give attention on wages and benefits of nurses to improve their standard of living.

Co-ordinator of Post Graduate Study Centre Prof D G Krishnegowda, Dr M K Devappa, Professor Venkatesh, Professor Vanitha and Nandaprakash were present.
