Dumb students excel

The Institution has recorded 94 per cent distinction and first classes. Out of the 34 students appeared, 10 students got distinction, 22 passed in first class and one each in second and pass class.

The Sai Ranga School for Deaf for boys in Bannimantap has also achieved excellence securing 100 per cent result. Nine students of the school appeared for the examination and have cleared the exam. The staff and management of the school has commended the effort of the students.

Meanwhile, the Srikantha Girls High school in city has registered 76 per cent result in the SSLC examination. Out of the total appeared, three students achieved distinction, 32 first class, 26 passed in second class and 20 in pass class.

The Government Girls High School in People’s Park has also fared better in the SSLC examination securing 96 per cent result. Out of the 259 appeared for the exams 12 students secured distinction, 108 got first class and 56 second class. Pooja of the college has topped the school scoring 600 marks out of 625, a release from the principal R Mohan said.

Diksha A Gowda secured the highest marks of 590 out of 625 and stood topper for the school, a release said.

Prashanth Kamath S P of Sadvidya High School has secured 615 marks scoring 98.40 per cent marks. While, Yashaswini has secured 603 marks out of 625. She is the daughter of Sheela and Vishwanath couple.

M Sahana, daughter of S Mahadeva Prakash has also secured 587 marks.

Anushree K of Gnana Ganga Vidya Peetha has secured distinction scoring 577 marks. The school management has congratulated Anushree for the success.
