One hurt in jumbo attack

A person was seriously hurt when a wild jumbo attacked him on Sunday night.

He is identified as Keerthi of Bisalehalli village in Sakleshpur taluk. The incident occurred while he was returning home with his friend after getting down from a bus. The jumbo attacked Keerthi with its tusk. He has suffered deep injury on thigh. However, his friend managed to escape.

He is undergoing treatment in a private hospital.
