Residential education

For the PU I Year, 50 students will be admitted this year and as many students next year.

The residential institute has been established on a 48-acre plot of land at Khanadal, about 10 km from here, with all state-of-the-art facilities.

Vidya Peetha founder A Y Naik said the purpose of offering free education, along with residential facilities, was to ensure that orphans and BPL children are not be deprived of opportunities to pursue their science education only because of their socio-economic disadvantage.

Vidya Peetha secretary Basavaraj Diggavi said first preference will be given to orphans, followed by BPL children, and in both categories, priority will be given for girl students.
Admission will be made through an entrance test.

Parents interested in enrolling their children may contact: Basavaraj Diggavi, Shree Guru Vidya Peetha, Khanadal, near Central Prison, Jewargi Road, Gulbarga. The last date for availing application forms is May 23.
