<p>The dead is Ambika (56), wife of Gangadharaiah, a retired BMTC ticket collector and resident of Turuvekere. The couple have two sons – Jaishankar, a BMTC driver and Girish, a marketing executive.<br /><br />Police said Ambika was against Jaishankar’s marriage with a distant relative and had allegedly attempted suicide a few months ago. The elder members of the family had consoled her and the marriage was scheduled to be held in the third week of May. <br /><br />When the sons returned home on Thursday night, Ambika was found hanging from the ceiling fan, the police said. <br /><br /></p>
