Acting on a tip-off, the police arrested all the three on May 19 and handed them over to the Balurghat police on Friday.<br /><br />13 held for robbery<br /><br />The Central Crime Branch police have recovered valuables worth Rs 80 lakh by arresting 13 persons wanted in connection with various crimes.<br /><br />Police Commissioner B G Jyothiprakash Mirji told reporters that a special team was constituted to curb increasing incidents of robbing jewellers, reported from Srirampura and Seshadripuram. <br /><br />Acting on a tip-off, police laid a trap and arrested nine persons who had planned a robbery in Seshadripuram. <br /><br />During interrogation, they revealed that the plan was hatched by a few inmates of the Central Prisons. Based on information, police arrested inmates Mahesh, Kencha, Bharath and Sandeep, the commissioner said.<br /><br />More than three kg of gold jewellery, Rs 1.43 lakh cash, five cellphones, five bikes and an autorickshaw were recovered from the arrested.</p>
