CET results today

The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) will announce the results of the Common Entrance Test (CET) 2015 here on Monday.

The test is conducted for admissions to various professional courses in Karnataka. CET ranks will be the basis for admission to engineering, architecture, medical, dental, AYUSH, farm sciences and veterinary courses.

According to an official release from the KEA, the results will be announced by 12:30 pm. Candidates can access the results on the KEA websites http://kea.kar.nic.in, http://cet.kar.nic.in and http://karresults.nic.in

The exam was held across the State in 343 exam centres on May 12 and 13. As many as 1,57,580 candidates appeared for the exam. Of these, 1,15,803 appeared for Biology, 1,48,177 for Mathematics, 1,53,576 for Physics and 1,53,556 for Chemistry.

KEA officials said some CET candidates have approached them for change of caste/category mentioned in the CET application forms. They have been requested to personally approach the KEA with valid documents and proof for claiming reservation under any category provided on the CET forms.

The deadline for this will be June 4, before 5:30 pm.

Also, those who have not taken printouts of their online application forms will be given an opportunity to download them from 10:30 am on June 3 till 5:30 pm on June 20.

This year, both the test and the results were delayed due to various reasons.

The CET was originally scheduled for April 29, 30 and May 1, but postponed owing to a nationwide transport strike.
