Inflow into reservoirs increases

Linganamakki reservoir received 4,087 cusec of water with the catchment areas receiving 40.6 mm rain. The inflow to Bhadra reservoir increased to 3,260 cusec.

Hulikal (near Hosanagar) received 65 mm of rain while Hosanagar recorded a rainfall of 61.2 mm followed by 60.40 mm in Mastikatte. Soraba received lowest rain of 0.6 mm.

In Kodagu, Madikeri received highest rainfall of 16.20 mm and Harangi reservoir received 208 cusec water.

The water level in the reservoir stood at 2836.98 feet against full reservoir level of 2,859 feet. Virajpet taluk recorded a rainfall of 10.20 mm while it rained 5.95 mm in Somwarpet taluk.
