According to an official release, after the first campus in Kolkata was launched last year, EIILM will start six campuses in various states in a phased manner by 2014. They include Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, Gujrat, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa and one in North east, besides West Bengal, Karnataka and Punjab.
The release said, last year the Kolkata-based education group became Asia’s first institute to introduce a five-year integrated BBA and MBA course in pharma management. Soumendra Bandopadhaya, founder director of EIILM, said the institute will be opened on Brigade Road in Bangalore with an intake of 150 students annually.
