Addressing mediapersons on Friday, Kodihalli Chandrashekar, president of KRRS said the BDA had issued a notification for the acquisition of around 2,000 acres of agricultural land for the project, seven years ago. The farmers have been waiting for the BDA to award its compensation in vain, he added.
