Jeev finishes tied 28th after 71, maiden title for Rock

Britain's Robert Rock credited improved putting after reading tips from a coaching manual as he ended a nine-year wait and 209 events for a European Tour victory.

A closing five-under 67 packed with seven birdies around the turn, for a 21-under 267 total, left the Englishman a stroke better than Denmark's Thorbjorn Olesen and fellow Briton Gary Boyd.

Gangjee tied 10th

Rahil Gangjee played it steady for a two-under 69 to stay tied 10th after the third round of the Nationwide Tour’s Rex Hospital Open at the TPC Wakefield Plantation course.

The 33-year-old Kolkata golfer has a total of eight-under 205 after three rounds. On Saturday, he had three birdies and no bogeys till he came to the 17th. Gangjee birdied the sixth, ninth and 12th and his bogey came on the 17th, as he found 11 of the 14 fairways, but needed 30 putts as against 25 during his 66 on the second day.

Troy Kelly took advantage of the soft conditions as he shot an eight-under 63 to move to 12-under 201 and shared the lead with Ryan Armour (67) and Martin Flores (68).
