ViewPad, from seven-inch to ten-inch screen size, will be available in the price range of Rs 21,000 to Rs 32,000.

Country Manager (India) Ajay Sharma said the company is waiting to finalise its tie-up with a telecom operator to provide cost-effective 3G connectivity for those buying ViewPad.
“The shipping would reach us shortly and we’re waiting for a deal with telecom operators so that our customers can  have 3G access as they buy the device,” Sharma said.

Coming with duel operating systems (Windows 7 and Google Android), fully-touch tablet PC is said to give a superior video experience to users. Sharma said his company would drive the growth on technology and not on cost.

“Indian consumers are technologically well informed and so we believe our products would live up to their expectations. This would provide the basis for our growth here,” he said, adding they enhance its channel partnership in India with 50 partners in various regions.
