They will perform a multi-lingual play “Eklavya”, which is based on eminent Indian theatre writer Kuldeep Kunal’s “Eklavya Uvach”. The concept, direction and design of the play were by Sathyabrath Raut of Scenography Department, Hyderabad.

The play will also be performed at the Columbia’s drama festival.

Speaking with Deccan Herald, Kotiganahalli Ramaiah, the president of the school, said that before going to Columbia, it is pre-requisite that the play becomes a part of the Bihar drama festival.

Raut said that the play is an attempt to take the viewers back into primitive India through Eklavya prasanga, which is an essential part of the Mahabharatha. The men and women, who are a part of the play, prepared for the act within 45 days, he added.

A technical rehearsal of the play was done and the loopholes were discussed, after which, the troop arrived in Bangalore and headed to Bihar.
